Frigiliana at a Glance

Where to Park in Frigiliana
Frigiliana is mostly pedestrianized, so parking is best done on the outskirts. Here are your main options:
1. Public Parking Garage (Underground)
📍 Calle San Sebastián, near the roundabout
💶 Approx. €1–€2/hour
✅ Best for easy access to the old town and keeps the car cool on a hot day, we parked here
2. Free parking along the main road (A-7201)
🕓 Free, but fills up fast by late morning, you want to aim to be parked by 11am, and you may have quite a walk depending how far away you have parked
3. Street parking is limited and often reserved for residents.
🕗 Tip: Arrive before 10:30 AM to avoid parking headaches, especially in summer.
4. Tours from Malaga and surrounding area is also available if you don’t have a car, which allows you to come by coach


Local Markets & Shopping
🛒 Market Day: Every Thursday morning at Plaza de las Tres Culturas.
🖼️ Artisan Shops: Ceramics, mosaics, leather, and cane honey. Many close during siesta (2:00–5:00 PM).

1. Nerja (15 min drive)

- Balcón de Europa: A dramatic cliffside viewpoint with sea views and cafés
- Playa Burriana or Playa Carabeo: Swim, sunbathe, or kayak
- Tapas bars and boutiques: Great for a late lunch or drink
- Parking: Underground lot near the Balcón or free lots by Burriana Beach

2. Cueva de Nerja (10 min drive from Frigiliana)

- Reachable by a rough gravel road (small cars can make it slowly)
